Mental Health And Indian Student
Why are indian children unhappy?
1 OUT OF 4 Student in India is going through depression. what is the reason for this ?
if you are a parents or if you have a younger brother or sister please read this topic very carefully because it can help you to understand
mental health issue Please share this with your loved ones, your family, friends, with everyone you know….. because maybe this information
will help someone.
According to report 1 in 7 children are facing mental health issues these types of issues where…. which they don’t need any sympathy where everything will be alright….. They need some mental medical help.
Depression anxiety, stress…. can you guess how many children will get medical support? According to report less than 1% get medical
support……
Do you know why?
If you mention that you feel depressed or anxious, they’ll brush it off. They’ll do the same until it gets annoying and tell you “You’re overreacting, sleep it off”. And one day when it gets to your breaking point, you sleep forever. They’d still blame it you for being weak-minded. But what they failed to see is that they were too weak-hearted.
Don’t take feelings for granted. It is okay to cry. Even if you’re a boy. It’s completely okay to let loose of your frustration/pain. It’s the body’s natural response. Don’t suffocate boys with the thought of being ‘manly’. Every man has emotions, it’s his right to express himself.
Because we don’t talk openly about mental health issue in india. our friend or colleagues don’t have capacity to understand….. and our elder’s/guardian ignore our mental issues.
Then what does the result say?
Then the person starts feeling very suffocated……Many studies says that emotional state such as anxiety and depression can increase insulin resistance, which over time can lead to not only
diabetes but increase the risk for other chronic illness that are associated with insulin dysregulation.
Anxiety and depression have a direct impact on our digestive. which increases the chances of diabetes in the future.
Do you know what?
14 november is children’s day in india and itrestingly , it is also world diabities day….. maybe this is no coincidence maybe it shows
that we need to focus on our children’s mental health….
So without taking more time let’s move towards our today’s Topic.
why are indian children unhappy?
1) Unhealthy competition….
when i was in school there was a …..ji ka beta in our class the whole classed to compared to this person.. my parents forgot about my mark that i got……. They intrested in how much …..ji ka beta got. That was more important in my family. why this sound relatable to us because this happens everywhere. This attitude does not help us to improve our performance .. but this definitely ruins our friendship.
As we know our education is not perfect we will discuss about this in upcoming topic.
But the shocking fact is earlier the comparison was limited to the classroom it was limited to our cousins, brother and sister. competition used to be in limited small circle but now when we see…… UP’S ……Kumar scores 100% in in CBSE class x that leads to parents to think if it is possible
for him, then why not for my child? it is very important for parents to understand all of us are different we can do better on different field.
The biggest problem with Indian parents is that they are not able to adapt their mind with the dynamically changing world.
I m not saying all parents are like that, but many parents still don’t want to change their mind.
They think that they can control their children and they can’t stand their children not following their orders.
Education
It seems to be the most important thing on the planet. They tend to believe that every child’s intellectual capacity is the same as the other.
So they assume that intelligence is always associated with being able to study well. They aren’t aware of linguistic, logical, aesthetic, spatial, artistic, interpersonal and intra personal intelligence.
They believe that smart kids automatically belong to the science and technology field, average kids go for commerce, and below average go for arts/sports. This isn’t true. They believe that, success is materialistic. That’s not really what success is, it just means to be able to find happiness as your pursue a career of own personal interest rather than being forced to go for what your parents think suit you best. Because the only person who knows you, is of course yourself.
2) Emotional blackmail system.
You read that right. “I gave you so much, can’t you do just this much for me”? Don’t fall for that trap anymore. It is basic human decency for a parent to provide their kids with education, food, clothes, and other needs. But for them to be toxic enough to continuously ask you to keep changing and adjusting to the ideal daughter/son is just wrong.
For them to be saying, “I educated you for years so you’d be successful and make me proud………
3) Social Media…..
This phone is a weapon of mass distraction we have to focused on phone during ONLINE CLASSES and stay away while studying…. STUDY AND PLAY…. DISTRACTION Cause
Dopamine is called feel good hormone… it is very important to have the right balance of Dopamine…. but social media gives us an instant boost of dopamine…in which we get extremely addictive……….
we all know that we are social animal we all need social interactions…. some people don’t have a good environment at home parents keep fighting then they find a new family in their friends and teachers… in the past almost two years our school, colleges, are all shut and this have a deep impact on students…fingercross everything is coming back on right track… THIS IS TRUTH…
SOLUTION AND HELPLINES
